1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how UUDS Aero DWC ("we", "us") collects, processes, stores, and deletes personal data within the UAE branch platform.

5. Data Retention, Deletion & Account Closure

We follow a multi-stage secure deletion process:

Stage 1 – Request Submission

Users must submit a deletion request via:

  • Authenticated account (logged-in request)
  • Verified email request

Stage 2 – Identity Verification

  • Re-authentication (password / OTP)
  • Email confirmation link
  • Optional admin verification

Stage 3 – Cooling-Off Period

Deletion is delayed by 30 days:

  • User can cancel anytime
  • Reminder notifications sent

Stage 4 – Soft Delete (Archive)

  • Account deactivated
  • Data moved to archive
  • No user access

Stage 5 – Permanent Deletion

After 90 days:

  • All personal data erased
  • Backups overwritten
  • Irreversible anonymization applied

Security Note: All deletion requests require identity verification to prevent unauthorized actions.

6. Data Retention Policy

  • Active users → retained during usage
  • Inactive users → reviewed after 12 months
  • Archived data → retained up to 90 days
  • Legal obligations → retained per UAE law

8. Protection Against Unauthorized Requests

  • No deletion via unverified email
